Microsoft Management Summit 2011
Well, I took some time to learn about Forefront Endpoint Protection with Microsoft’s community evaluation program. It seemed like the best way to learn about the newly released endpoint protection and understand the benefits in convergence of desktop and security management.
So in December winning a bag was great for me as I have been having some bag issues! I ordered twice a custom bag to transport some music equipment and twice after 6-8 weeks it didn’t arrive and I had to cancel wait for refunds.
Here’s is a picture of the new bag I won with some of the kit I take around, most bags that can carry a laptop and a Torq Xponent (controller in the picture), have loads of compartments for cables, power supplies headphones, a book, clothes and wash gear? They don’t fit in the overhead luggage or can’t fit by your feet on a or train boat . And this bag does!!! Woot woot!
Last week the winning got better, I won a ticket to MMS 2011 in Las Vegas! Last year I planned to go but could not get there (Due to an unauthorised cloud setting up in European airspace and blocking most flights)!
My flights are now booked and I’m looking forward to a week of training and networking. I’ll no doubt be talking soon about some of the sessions I’m excited about here on my blog.
